It is advisable to buy the wool ready packed from the Tiflia morobants, since, m a role, they do not understand shrink■oe On that acoount the business ought to be a profitable one for a wide-awake buyer, since light wools can be bought at the same prlo? as the heavy .The time •pent In bringing large quantities Into email parcels would be well •pant, the profit depending not on the low prices or the quantities, but on the sorting. In the year 1884 a parcel of wool was sent from the Caucasus to New York, and fetched there from 11 to 19 cents per lb, whereas It oould have been booght all round In the Oaucaius for 4f oentß.
