NEW ZEALAND .V. VICTORIAN CADETS
Dukbdin v June 13. Colonel S&rgood when here held out a hope that the High Sohool Cadets might meet the Cadets of the Sootoh College, Melbourne, In a rifle competition. The difficulty was that the two corps were armed with different weapons. Colonel Bargood has now sent over a number of rifles and a thousand rounds of ammunition of the type used m VJotorla, and the idea of the competition has also been taken up by other Victorian schools. It it likely therefore the Otago High Sohool Oftdetß will shortly try their prowess against five or six companies of Victorian Cadets.
