The Mayor presided a\ a meeting of ladies held yesterday afternoon, whrn it it was resolved to adopt the scheme o* Queen's Fund suggested by Lady Jervcis. The money is to be devo ed to the relief of diitreraed women of all o'aeses. The Coptic, Wellington, June 8 Arrived at 3.14 a.m., the CjpUo from London. She left there en 21<t April; Plymouth on the 23rd ; Te&eriffe on tbe 28th ; Capetown, May 14th, and Hobart June 3rd. There was fine weather . throughout the passage whioh was an uneventful one;. :
