EVICTIONS IN IRELAND.
EXCITING SCENES.
London, June 5 Exciting scenes occurred at Bodyke, County Clare, Ireland, during an eviction of a number of tenants. A force of 300 soldiers and police protected the bailiffs, but the eviction was stubbornly resisted. Michael Davitt was present and harangued the people. He expressed his regret that he ever deprecated violence being used m opposition to the eviction law.
