The Fatal Fire.
Auckland, May 28. Mr Hill, Injured at the Royal Hotel fire, Onehunga, died this morning. He had been badly burned before leaping from the room. He stated he had gone t j bed leaving a candle burning, and this Ib auppoaed to have caused the fire. The girl burned to death was Annie Allar, Her remains were recovered, completely oharrod and partly oovered by bedding. Biie was 19 years old and only entered on the situation two days before the fire. Oceanic Company. Mr Spreokles, of Oceanic SS. Company, was nut a passenger by the mail Btoamer. It is supposed he will come noit trip along with the colonial delegat9B returning by the San Francisco route. The Jubilee. The Anckland Freemtsona last night resolved to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee by rals'ng a fund for the reltaf of destitute Masons, and their widows and orphans. Death of a Book,raak;er. DuNEMtf, May 28. Snelder, the well-known bookmaker, died last night through bursting a bloodvessel.
