RUN OVER BY A TRAM.
Chri sich rjßCH, May 25, About 6 this evening the tram going from Chriatohuroh to Heathcote ran over a man named Biohard Bennett, near Heathoote racecourse. His le f t foot was cut off and the fleßh stripped from the knee to ankle on the left leg. He was intoxicated, and walked m front of the tram m the dark! Notwithstanding his frightful injuries he seems likely to recover.
