AUCTIONEER'S REPORT.
Mr Alfred Harrison reports his weekly sale aa follows :— Saturday, May 21st. — Notwithstanding continued bad weather, there was a large attendance, and most entries found a good market. Cows m profit sold from £3 10s lo £6 10b with enquiries for good springers. Pigs. — Weaners, 4s ; slips, 5s 6d to 6s ; baoon pigs up to 295. Fowle, Is 7d.to 2d 3d ; ducks, 2s 3d to 3s ; turkeys, 3s to Ca each.
Implements. — Hut on wheels, £17 ; dray, £6 ; horse power, 50s ; spring cart, £9 ; light dr*y, £3 17s Gd. Produce — The price of Derwents varies weekly quite 20s per too, this week being lower than last ; Perwents, 40a to 455 ; chick wheat, 2s to 2s Gd ; oats, Is 6d to Is 7d ; onions, £d to l^d per lb ; carrots, 2a per bag ; carcase pork, 2-Jd ; mutton, Id to l^d ; hams, 4d ; bacon, 4d ; tea, 14s. A large quantity of harness, furniture, drapery and sundries met with a ready sale.
