It is announced that a convention has been concluded* between the Turkish and British Govevernments whereby the period within which the evacuation of Egyptian territory by the British forces will be completed is fixed at three years. It is further provided that m the event of internal trouble*, Egypt may be re-occupied by the British and Turkish troops, either con* jointly or separately as maybe previously agreed, it being understood that no other Power shall be allowed to interfere.
