QUEENSLAND SEPARATION

London, M*y 13 In the House of Commons to day Sir Henry Holland, Colonial Secretary, replying to a question, stated that he had fixed a day on which he would receive a deputation of the promoters of the North Queensland separation movement. He added that he was advised, however, he could not act without imperial legislation, and this was unlikely unless the Queensland Parliament resolved m favor of the proposed separation.
