Thubbday, May 12. The Council met at 2 30 p.m, BILLS. The Ward Conservation of Rights Bill passed through the remaining stages. The Poat-offbe Act Amendment Bill was read a firat time. NOTICE. Mr Reynolds gave notice of an amendment to Captain Biylie's motion for Tuesday, that, m the present state of the finances of the colony, it was not prudent to make any provision for a mw building for the library. The Council adjourned at 3 45 p.m.
