AUCTIONEER'S REPORT.
Mr Alfred Harrison reports for the week SB follows : —
On Tuesday, 26 April, I nold, at Mr Keir's residence, furniture and . c-ffeots. There was a good attendance, and all lots were oleared satisfactorily.
On Wednesday, 27 ApriJ, I held a olearing sale for Mr Salek, when a superior lot of furniture and effects acid remarkably well, the piano by Otto Reinhardt being knocked down at £53.
On Saturday, 30 April, I held my usual weekly sale. The wet weather Interfered somewhat with entries m the yards and at the commencement the Attendance was poor, but later I had the tegular full house. Cows m profit sold from £3 to £4 15s Pigs — Slipß, 4s to se ; email porkers, 6s 6dlo Bs.
Fowls, Is 6d to Is 8d per pair ; ducks, 3s ; Turkeys, 6s 31 each.
Prodncd — Derwentß, 40s to 50a per ton ; cklckwheat, 2s to 2s Gd per buehel ; Oats, 1b 6d to la 7d per bushel ; Onions, £d to l£d per 1b ; catrots, 2s to 2<s 3d per bag ; apples, 5j to 6a per case ; tomatoeß, 2d per Ib. A quantity of fine muttcn sold at Id per Ib ; carcase pork, 2|d per Ib. Spring cart, £10, and sundry implements, furniture and effects, also piano, jold well.
