Auckland, May 2. The Rev Mr Dowie, falth-healer, on Sunday delivered &n address on the prl* vilegea, duties, and responsibility of GhrbUans m regard to pablio affairs, Commencing with a denunciatory commentary on the pulpit, he next Indulged m a tirade of abuse, and attacked the Ministry of New Zealand, from the Premier downwards, the latter more especially, m hia capacity of Minister of Eduoation, and urged hfs hearers to Insist on a change. That man who denounced the Bible, and cast it beneath his feet, was not fit to control the education of tho yiuth of the colony, and New Zealand, na a Christian country, should have a Ohrletian Premier. Mr Dowie made a violent attack on the Minister of Justice, and, winding up with a vehement tirade, said that a Jew and two Infidels were the Government of this Christian oouutry. Mr Dowie concluded by an onslaught on the Preßß, Baying he did not cure foe oritiolsm, and he denounced the new«« papers as vile, mercenary, and unscrupulous.
