The final meeting of the Commissioners of the Indian and Colonial Exhibition was held to-day under the presidency of the Prince of Wales. Sir Cunliffe Owen, the Secretary, read the report, which showed that after all the expenses had been paid a surplus of remained. Of this sum it was decided to devote to the funds of the Imperial Institute. Sir F. Dillon Bell expressed regret that the colonies had not yet replied to the invitation of the Prince of Wales to subscribe to the Institute, which he considered was required for the purposes of perpetuating the representation of the resources of the colonies.
