It was moved that the House should not proceed with the measure until the Irish Land Bill had passed the Lords and was presented to the Commons. Mr Balfour, Chief Secretary for Ireland, said that Government was unable to accept the amendment. The debate stands adjourned until to-morrow, when a division is expected to be taken.
