[ ' ADDRESS IN REPLY. Mr Fraser -moved the Address-ln-Reply to the Governor's Speech. ■ Mr Jones seoonded the address. Ms jar Atkinson* congratulated the mover'and seconder of the address, and said that m fill his experienoe he had never kr.own honorable gentlemen to hare a more difficult task than to reply to a spot oh whloh contained nothing. Sir K. Stout congratulated the mov« and seconder of the Address for the lino of policy advocated m their speeches, as they contained true democratic Beati* men to. He considered that if Major Atkinson had any ohance of carrying an amendment on the Address he would be quite prepared to debate it, but the fact was he (Mojor Atkinson) was not quite , sure of the policy he should adopt thii session. The motion for the adoption of the Address was then put and carriad on the voices. The House rose at 4.15 p.m. till to* morrow.
