Grey gave notice to move for leave to introduce, a Bill to authorise the purchase or other acquisition of private land for settlement. Sir R. Stoat introdaced'the Banks and Bankers Aot Amendment Bill. TFK PUBLIC BUSINESS, Mr Fraser cave ootioe to move the Addresß In Reply to the Governor's Speech. Mr Bryce asked the Government what coarse they intended to take as to the progress of business m the House. Sir Stoat said the House would meet to-morrow, and it was the intention of Government to go straight on with the buainesa. The Houae rose at 2.50 p.m.
