IMPERIAL INSTITUTE.

London, April 24. Sir F. Abel delivered a|lecture yester- . day on the "Imperial Institute," the Prince of Wales m the chair. The lecturer gave full details and explanations of the objects of the scheme. The " Standard " publishes a scathing denunciation of the manner m which the Institute has been advocated, and asserts that the approval of her Majesty is nullified by the want of confidence the public evince m the management.
