PRE-SESSIONAL ADDRESS.
MR WALKHJR AT ASHBURTON. Mr O. Walkor, M.H.R., addressed a meeting of hts constituents at the Oddfellows' Hall last evening. The attendance wdß fair, and the Mayor, Mr T. Bealy, presided. Mr Walker's address waa, m the main, very similar to that delivered by him at Methven on Saturday evening, and at its conclusion a vote of tbnuks and confidence, proposed by Mr 11. Aloorn, and seconded by Mr A. Orr, was unanimously carried, . The usual vote of thanks to the char oonoluded tbe meeting.
