Scott, the President, occupied {he ohair, and there was ft good attendance 61 members. The balancoibeet, whioh was read, showed the finances of the Club to be m a very healthy oonbition. The eleotj^n of ofßoere resulted as follows : — President, Mr G. Scott ; vioe-President, Mr J. A. Oaygill ; Treasurer, Mr J. McGregor ; Committee— Messrs T. \Vall, J. Miles, 0: TrricWe, W. J.Hayeß, F. Wilmhurßt and A. Dee. After the eleotion the members adjourned upstairs where a oarjtal spread had been provided' for ' them by the retiring pacers and niembere of Committee. Having done full justice to the good things provided, a number of toasts were proposed and duly honored, the first, that ol Her Majesty tbo Queen, being given m true jubilee style. The Vice-President, Mr J. A. Oaygill, proposod the health of the President in|a most eulogJßtio speech, . He admitted having voted ttgainßt bst Soott at labteleotipn but having Bsen8 sen him work as head of tho oliib he had riw £0 admit that Mr Scott was the right man In the right place. The toasl; was drunk with. mußioal honors and Mr Soott appropriately responded, promising to further the interests of the) Club to the best of his ability.
