Bollock reports for the wee ending Saturday, 23rd April :— Th'<re was a large entry of horses, viz , G7 Amongst them were a nnmber of 2, 3 and 4 year-old unbroken colts and fillies, medium draught, for which biddings were again fairly spirited. The whole of the entry of this class were sold at very satisfactory prices, as given below. There was also a number of mediam draughts, for .which there were numerous buyers and for a fairly good stamp up to £25 was obtained. Out of the total day's entry of 67, 66 were Bold bb follows, viz. , I three-year-old colta, an account of tine Lowcli ffe Estate, brought £18, £15, and £20 respectively Aged and light draughts £13 to £17 ]0s; On acoount of Mr John Small, 5 two-year-olds brought £17 10a, £17 10s £15 10s, £14 10s £14 10s, and on eocount of Mr Studholmo, Ooldetream Estate, 6 three and four-year-olds, UDbroken, brought £21 10s, £20 10a, j £16 10, £16 10s, £16 10s, £16 10a, the average being £iS ; medium druught, on account of Messrs Alawson Bros., 4-year-old, rather light stamp, brought £21 15) ; on account of Mr Br wn, a gelding of the same ape, brought £25 ; for other medium draughts prcta realised vrore, aged rf a Mrly good a'amp, £14, £14, £16 10j, £18 £19; 3-year-old, £23 ; aged and inferc-r, a number were sold at from £9 10s to £11; light harness horses, £8 10a, £9 10* ; inferior do, from £4 to £7 ; 3-year-olds, £11. 11 153 ; hackß, a number changed ! hands at from £4 10a to £6 53, and for a fairly good atawp up to £9 wan obtained. Suadrieß— American waggon, £8; harness, Ate, at market rates. Oats, la 51 per ODshel.
