NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the above Council held on Friday, the Ist day of April instant, a Resolution was duly adopted, and will be submitted for confirrcntioa as a Special Order at a Special Meeting of the Council, to be held on Friday, the 6th day_ of May, 1887, at half-past four o'clock m the afternoon, The object of the said Special Order is is — (1) To make the Alount Somers Tramway, and the revenues to bo derived therefrom the primary security for the Loan of £3500 borrowed by the Council under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886." (2) To constitute a Special Rating District under " The Local Bodies- Leans Act, 1886." And (3) to make a Rate of Three Farthings m the pound upon all rateable properties m the Hating District, payablo annually on the first Saturday m June until the said Loan is paid off. ?be said Special Order is to take effeot immediately upon the making thereof.
