He is a dark brown or black horse, stands 16 hands high, got by Englißh Tim Whiffler, out of Flying Scud. Tim Whiffler was by Van Galen, out of Sybil, by Ugly Buck, out of Sylph, by Titha-da puta, Van Galen being by Van Tromp, out of Littlo Casino, by inheritor. Flying Scud was a dark bay mare, bred m Victoria by Mr J. Harper m 1865, got by Fisherman, her dam being Jeanette by Little John, Whilhelmina by Romeo, Moss Rose by Emigrant, tho Driver mare. (For extended pedigree see English and Australian stud books. ) Tim Whiffler waß scarcely ever beaten m England. The dam of this horse being by Fisherman shows his grand blood, as a study of the Btud book will show that Mu»ket'B great sucoess has been from Australian bred mares, for the descendants of the grand old Fisherman, viz., MartiniHenry, Nordenfelt, and Trenton, are al descended from Fisherman on the damß side.
