In this order they raced to| the turn, whera Tom Brown began to move up. When between the rails Frieco, and Kitawa came to the front. A good finish ensued, the former winning by half a length, i Tom Brown being third three lengths away, followed by Ringmaster, Emerald, and Honeydew, Time, 3mln 39|seo. Betting, 6 to 1 against Jewel, Honeydew, and Myall King ; 10 to 1 againet Tcm Brown, Kit aw a, Stanley, and Frisco ; 15 to 1 against Nelson and Abuse ; 20 to 1 against the others.
