HORSE MARKET
Blr T. Bullock reports for tha week ending Saturday, 9th April :— 24 horses were brought forward for the day's safe, amonget them were some unbroken 3 year* old cults and fillies, medium draughts, for which biddings were fairly spirited. Other entries were only of a very medium stamp, Out of the day's entry of 24. 16 wore sold as follows, namely, 3 3«yeaa-old and 1 4-year-old, unbroken, medium draughts, brought £18 lOi, £17, £15, £14, respectively ; aged draughts, £6 10j, £7, £7 153. £11 10a; light harness horse* £4 to £4 15s, and for a fairly good stamp £10 was obtained. Haoks—only those of an inferior description were offered. A number ohangod hands at from £2 5a to £3 10s. Second-hand spring trapi brought £10 ; harness and sundries at market rates.
