A meeting of citizens was held to-day to consider the question of celebrating the Qaeen's Jubilee, A Committee consist ing of the Governor, theolty members, the Mayor and Oounoil, the members of the Harbor Board and clergymen, wai appointed to submit a proposal to a future mooting. New Plymouth Encampment. 600 volunteers leave Wellington to night for the onoampment at New Plymouth. The Te Aro Seat. Messrs Trarers, Frasor and Nanoarrow were nominated for Te Aro to-day. The ■how of hands was In favor of Travers. A poll will be held on the 15 th. The Kaitangata Fund. Dunedin, April 7. A number of Port Chalmers people have memoritkllied the Legislature to apportion £3000 of the Kaitacgata fund towards the Buill relief fund, An Impoßter. Vtohael Ooleman was aentenoed to fourteen days for imposing on the BeneTolent Trustees
