IRISH LAND BILL.
In the House of Lords last night Earl Cadogan, Lord Privy Seal, introduced the Irish Land Bill. The Bill admits leaseholders to the benefit of the Act of iBBr, and provides for persons who are evicted becoming caretakers of property. It provides for evictions being delayed m cases of tenants becoming insolvent, exempts landlords from payment of rates m cases where rents are not paid owing to intimidation.
