The bulk of the entry qf cheep. comprised merino ewes, which have gono whence they will never return, v'z, to the boiling-down establishment?, thus helping the difficulty for surplus stock. Prices for same ranged from 91 to Is 10 i per head. Pigs, good porkera, 20-; youngster.-, Bs. Pat heifers, £5 12s to £6 2a Gd par head.
