ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION.
Melbourne, March 28.
The Committee of the Royal Geographical Society has resolved to ask Sir Graham Eerry, Agent-General for Victoria, to invite offers from ship owners for a^ whaling expedition to the Antarctic ocean on the lines previously approved of, and to solicit the advice of Sir Leopold McCUntock, Sir George Nares, and others as to the conduct of the same.
