Messrs 11. Matron and Co report : — There was a lurge entry of sheep, come cattle, and a few pigs. Our ealas were for Messrs John Grigg, X G Wright. O Stewart, M. Ash ton, YVilliain Man eon, B. Prebble, ana others. The superabundance of boilers passing through the many sale yards just n >w tux tho resources of the various establishments ; but thanks tp Mr J. M. Watt and hit) worthy Company, considerable execution is being done, and the greatest harm we can wish tho Provision and Produce Company is rhat the money nado this year will fully recompenee it lor its enterprise m conferring an untold amount of good upon the Canterbury fheep farmer, and maj operations commence six weeks earlier next yeur.
