Consols have declined by an eighth and are now at ioij£. The market rate of discount has fallen to is 4 per cent, being $}& below the Bank rate. New Zealand inscribed stock remains at 98. Colonial breadstuff's and tallow are without quotable change. The wool sales continue firm. To-day the catalogue comprised 8000 bales. »
