FATAL FIRE AT OXFORD.

Later aooouuta of the fatal fire at View Hill ahovr that Mra Anderson, who was sleeping downstairs with three children, «ged two, four and ei^ht years of age (two boys and a girl), found the house on fire about a quarter to twelve. She immediately put two children out of the window, and it is supposed left the otder to run upstairs and waken those who were sleeping there— her boys Oscar aged 17, Kenneth aged 6, Me Rudd, senr. , of Greenddle, who was sleeping there for the night, and a boy he had with him named Oarlyle Rudd. Oarlyle and Oaoar got nafely out, aud Osoar, not finding his mother, ran into the house again and got very badly burned about the faoe and shoulders. He has since died from the effects. The mother iv endeavnuriug to save Kenneth got suffocated, the il»mes having got such a ho:d on th-t house the ceiling g*ve way She fell on to a bed underneath and was butnt to ashes. Kenneth also fell through the oeiling and met with the same fate. The child, who it Is prenamed the mother intended picking ap when she returned was also burned to death.
