Snva tho persecution of Wesleyans Is still heavy m Tonga. The i.l. Arawata was quarantined for throe dayi on arrival m Suva In consequence of ■oarlet fever m Auckland at the time of her departure. Mf>ny summary dismissal* from the Civil Service hare been made with tho wbjeot of retrenching and more are to follow. Kain ba« been inossßant during the whole month. Trade is at zero.
