Tim Whiffler was by Van Galon, out of Sybil, by Ugly Buck, out of Sylph, bj Titha da puta, Van Galen being by Van ( Tromp, out of Littlo Casino, by Inheritor. Flying Scud was a dark bay mare, bred m Victoria by Mr J. Harper m 1865, got by Fisherman, her dam being Jeanette by Little John, Whilhelmina by Romeo, Mobs Rose by Emigrant, the Driver mare (For extended pedigree see English and Australian stud booKB ) Tim Whiffler was scarcely ever beaten m England.
