Nearly fifty years ago Judge GustavuaSSwatn t of Columbus, Ohio, offered a prize to the' boy of the town who should bring him tho best definition of money. One boy brought this definition, " Coined sweat." Of that same boy the newspapers this month (January, 1887) say :— " A millionaire banker of Columbus, Ohio, has just given 100,000 dollars to the deserving poor of the oity, through the Indies' Benevolent Sooioty."|
