. St Petersburg, March 20. Wholesale arrests of persons implicated m the late plot against the life of the Czar continue to be made m this city. It is rumoured that several officers have been secretly executed.
(SPECIAL TO PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, Maroh 20. Germany, Austria and Italy have agreed that the peculiar interests of each is protected by Italy having agreed to assist Austria. \t is considered that the effect will be to paralyse Russia, and leave France at the mercy of Germany. It is reported that Austria and Russia have each 300,000 troops massed m the vicinity of the Galician frontier.
