Mulbourne, .March 16. The manager of the National Mortgage the Agency Company reports as follows on the local markets ;— Wheat, 3s nd to 4s per bushel. No material change; if anything weaker. Barley, 4s to 46 6d per bushel. More demand, at slightly improved pi ices. New Zealand oats (feed sorts), 2s od to 25 1 id per bushel, to effect sales lower prices must be accepted. Oats, milling sorts, 2s lid to 3s per bushel, quieter and weaker. Ne.w Zealand oats, under bond, 2S id to 2s 2d per bushel, low sales. Ryegrass, 3s od to 4s per bushel, depressed.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has just received the following cable message from London, dated 15th March:— Wheat— Market weak and is likely to go lower. Adelaide (new) is worth 375, and Victorian 37s 6d per 4961 b. Quotation for the New Zealand wheat unchanged, owing to absence of supplies of this description. Victorian wheat, to arrive per iron ship, is worth, c.U, 353 6d per 4801 b, March bill of lading.
