The seamen of H.M.S. The statement recently received from Melbourne that a dispensation tras granted by the Grand Lodge oi Druids for a Dlstriot Grand Lodge for the South Inland of New Zialand is incorrect. The following i« the minute from the official proceedings :— "After considerable discussion a motion t<> grant a dispensation to New Zealand was withdrawn on the understanding that m the event of a fresh application being made for a District Grand Lodge prior to the August meeting of the Board, the application would appaar on the buaine a paper for the halfyearly meeting m September next.
