Buiiock report) for the we.k ending Saturday March 13'.h :— There was rather a larger attendance of farmers a .id ether coantrj settle™ and more horses were brought forward than at previous sales, amongst .which were a number of unbroken four-year-olds, of a medium stamp, from the Aiford Station, for whioh biddings were animated. Out of an entr> of twenty-eight, twenty-one were cold at the following prices, via., the four-year-old colts and fillies from Alford > Station fetched £19, £16, £15 £16 10s, £16 10i, £12; the b»x averaging £15 16s. These . were brought forward In good condition and commanded the attention of purchasers. Others—aged draughts, £10 ss, £12 15i ; three-y sr-old light draughts, £15. Light harnees horses, £5 10s, £7, £10 ; two and three year- olds unbroken, of a light stamp, £12 ; hack* £4, £4 10s up to £8 10a, according to description; •unbroken three-year-old, £6 ; sorubbsra at low prices.' •
