TYPHOID FEVER.

Melbourne, March 14.

On the arrival of the steamer South Australia from Adelaide to-day eight patients suffering from typhoid fever were removed from the vessel to the Hospital. They were all seamen belonging to the steamer. Since January Ist over 800 cases of typhoid fever have been reported m Victoria, sixty of which proved fatal.
