Miller's b m Impulse, aged ... 0 Won by a head. Time, 4oiin 4£*eo. After one faloe atart had been made, All Gold and Phaon were the first to get away, Nelaon being slow to move. Doeperado immediately made the running, going ahead at a great pace, and m passing the stand the first tmo led by twelve lengths, followed by Lochiel, Abuse, Nelson and Trider,t being well up m the reck. No material change took plaoe until passing tho abbatoirs, when Nelson and Trident moved up, and Lrohiel fell back beaten. As they came into the straight the order was— Satyr, Arsenal, All Gold, Impulse, Phaon, Trident, and Nelson, but at the distance Nehon and Trident . went to the front, the latter winning by a head, All Gold halt a length away.
