According to the Wellington correspondent of the Lyttelton Times it ia the intention of the Government to take atepß to give the Natives the full right of dealing with their lan Is as their titles beoome individualised, except that thrro will be some restriction Imposed as to the area. S)me of the individual owners hßva enormous blocks of land, and m th^ measures to be adopted for permitting the Natives to deal with their holdings, bb with Fu opesnß, provision will be made for preventing speculators from getting possession of very extensive aren The individualiaatioa of titles is going on well, both north andeoath : and, aa this ia the ultimate end ( f the Native policy, Mr Bjliance has every reason to be Sitlsfied with his success.
