At a meeting 6( St. George's Club last night, at which the Agents-General for the colonies were present, Mr Goschen, Chancellor of the Exchequer, made a speech, m which he urged the necessity of all political parties uniting to support the Government at the present. crisis. It was necessary he declared, to show the colonies that England still retained the art by which she built up the Empire.
