• Fire. Chbkhpohukch, February 22. At 10 am. to day a cottage at Syden. ham, belonging to Henry Moech and occupied by William Pende r , laborer, wae tj.r.Abd down. The hoow was insured for £120 m the Standard. The furniture wan uninsured. The fire was caused by ohildren phying with a lighted stick m one of the rooms. Found Dead. The body of Mrs Uagan was found m a lagoon near Waitahana ypsterd&y.
