Every attention la being paid to the ova by Mr Davidson (the curator), Mr Mayor Reid, and other members of the Acclimatisation Snooty, but the death rate ii heavy. Should none be saved the lots to the oolony will be one not easily guaged. The nnpreoedentedly hot weather Is the oause of the failure.
