Messrs H. Matson and < o. report:— At Tatteriall's on Saturday last onr entry for the day comprised 70 h<>rses of various descriptions, including unbroken colts, farm horses, haok and light harness horses, *o In the class of horses offeriog, there were none calling for special mention, nor was trade particularly bri-k. Stjll, a fair amount of business was done curing the Hay. On account of a contractor retiring from business, we offered four or five horses, a number of drays, sundry sets of hirness, &c, all of wh f ch were sold. Jast at the present time, the press of harvest work is affecting both the supply of horses as also th- attendance of buyers, and bnsinesß m this branch will probably remain slack for another few weeks
