ADDINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET.
There was a Urge attendance at the Addlogton market yesterday, and a better tone w»s perceptible. Cattle.— A large supply of fat cattle was yarded, including more of prime quality than has been the case lately. The demand wnagood, and a compete clearance was effected at an advance of 5s to 10s per head on good beasts Prime beef may be quoted at 18a 6.1 to 19k per 1001 b; middling to good, 15a to 17a 6d j inferior and cows from 12s. Store cattle were few m numbers, and no buyers being present, the sales were unimportant. A pen of two and a-half to three-year-old steers from tho Amuri were lod by Mr F. O. Tabart at £4 2s 6d, and the other lots that were Bold comprised only odd animala. Sheep —There waa a full market of fa sheep, bat very few lines of firm quality were present. Quality waß bent represented by BBvt-r*l very good lines of cross bred maiden ewea. tturfuess as better than iaat week, an impr iven-en m prices of 6d to 9d a head was realised.. A * eat Ooast buyer gave valuable support to the market, and Rome of thu beei lines of crossbred wethers were cold to croas tho ranges.
