Misfortune seems to follow m the footsteps of Thomas Castro, alias Arthur Orton, alias Sir Roger 0. Doughty Tiohborne, and his wife. Their firat appearance In Ohloargo was getting robbed. They were recommended on their way thither to go to 176, West Madiaon street, as It w*B • nice quiet place, where they would not be eaten np with board bills, nor pestered by curiosity hunters. They went there, The next morning they eonght other quarters, and on tholr return found a diilicalty In re-entering their rooms. Trunks and other heavy movables bad been piled agaioa : the door. When they did succeed m getting Into tha room they discovered tbat robbers had been ransacking their trunks and had paoked some valises with the more valuable of thoir effactn
