The report of January 18th says : — ' The (low that broke out «n the south nlopo of of Mauua Loa ba» been running Bince down the mountain. This evening it wiib very bright It most have run some fifteen miles or more." The Gazette's luilo correspondence also furnishes the following aHdUional particulars :— r" Hilo, January 21st. —A now lava fl >w has hrokf.n out from tho summit of Mauna Ln». apparently from the crater of IWoka-a-weo-weo, floating down the mountain at the back of KaSuhukuka on the Kono sido. It w;s first seen from Hilo 00 Sunday nighr, Jttramry IG^h. On Thursday night, thi 20th or January, it illuminated ihe he^veus, and whs seen by hundreds of JNativ^a und foreigners at Hilo.
