THE IRISH QUESTION.
In the House of Commons last night JMr Parnell, m a speech, which was moderate m tone, moved an amendment to the Address-in-Reply, denying that there was disorder m Ireland, when rents had been suitably reduced. Autonomy, not repression, he declared, w»b the remedy for the present crisis.
(Received February 9, 1 5 p.m.) RESIGNATION OF M. DEPRETIS. Bomb, February 8 M. Depretis, President-Minister, has tendered his resignation to the King, owing to the difficulty experienced m conducting business m Parliament since the reverses met with by the Italian forces at Massowah, Abyssinia.
