A resident of Ashburton had three valuable cows poisoned last night through eating tutu. The usual monthly meeting of the Hampstead Town Board was held last night at the Board's Offioe. Present— Mesara F. T. Mayo (ohairman), Hunt, Orr, Fawoatt, ana Andrews. Correspondence was read from the Borough and County Counoils. Messrs Wilding ; and Lewis wrote drawing the attention of the Board to an obstruction m Manse street. The Clerk was instructed to have it removed at once. The Olerk was also instructed to write m reply to the Borough Oounoil's olaim for work done on the East Belt. The Olerk was ! instruoted to vigorously oolleot the rates, and prooeed at once m all cases where he deems it necessary. A number of accounts were passed for payment, and after the transaction of a considerable amount of routine business the Board adjourned.
